Our own crew comes to your office and films your doctors, your team and your space. One shoot day gives you doctor interviews, patient-friendly explainers, office footage and photos, edited for your ads, reels and website.
Healthcare video production is the planning, filming and editing of video for a medical practice: the doctor explaining a procedure, the front desk welcoming a new patient, the treatment room before the first visit. A patient choosing a surgeon, a dermatologist or a chiropractor wants to see who will treat them. Real footage of your providers answers that question before they ever call.
PilotPractice is a healthcare marketing agency, so we shoot with the finished ads, website pages and reels already in mind. The same footage goes into your Google and Meta ads, your website, your Google Business Profile and your email and text campaigns. Every lead it brings in lands in the same CRM that books patients straight into your EMR, and calls after hours are answered by our Voice AI.
Pre-production, the shoot and post-production, in the order your team will live it. Pick a step to see what we do and what we need from you.
Before we travel, we sit down with you and your account manager and agree on what the footage has to do: fill the schedule for a procedure, introduce a new provider, or give your ads fresh creative. That turns into a shot list, interview questions for each doctor and a schedule that works around your patients.
Our videographers bring their own cameras, lights and microphones and set up in a quiet room, usually a consult room or a private office. We check sound, light and the background, and keep charts, screens and anything with patient information out of frame.
We ask simple questions and let each provider answer the way they talk to patients: who they treat, how a procedure works, what recovery looks like, why they do this work. No teleprompter and no memorised script. With written consent, we also film patients who want to talk about their results.
Between interviews we film the practice itself: the entrance and waiting room, the team at work, equipment, the hands-on parts of a consultation and the details patients notice. This footage is what our editors cut over the interviews, and it is what keeps your ads and reels fresh for months.
The same visit covers photography: provider headshots, team photos, the building, the reception area and treatment rooms. These replace stock photos on your website, go into your Google Business Profile and give your ads real faces.
Back at our office, the editors cut the interviews and b-roll into the pieces your marketing needs: a website video, treatment explainers, testimonial edits, ad cuts and vertical reels, all with captions. You review the first cuts, send notes and we re-edit. We keep the footage and cut new versions as your campaigns need them.
Most practices need the same handful of videos. Here is what each one is for, and where it ends up.
Your providers explain who they treat and how, in their own words. This is the video that turns a stranger into a patient who feels they already know the doctor.
Used on: homepage, provider pages, Google Business Profile, retargeting ads.
Short patient education videos that walk through what to expect: the consultation, the treatment, recovery and results. They answer the questions your front desk hears every day.
Used on: service pages, landing pages, follow-up emails and texts to new leads.
With the patient's written consent, we film people who are happy with their care and edit their story down to what a future patient wants to hear. Release forms are part of our process, and anything private stays out of the final edit.
Used on: reviews pages, social media, Meta ads.
A walk through the entrance, waiting room and treatment rooms with the people who work there. Patients who are nervous about a first visit like to see where they are going.
Used on: about page, contact page, new-patient emails.
Fast cuts built for a feed: a hook in the first seconds, captions for viewers with the sound off, a clear offer and a booking button. We cut them in every size Meta, Google, Instagram and TikTok ask for.
Used on: paid ads, Instagram Reels, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts.
Headshots, team photos and pictures of your office taken on the same visit, so your website and Google profile show the real practice instead of stock photos.
Used on: website, Google Business Profile, ads, email.
Contact UsA short testimonial built from one interview. Watch for the parts every finished edit we deliver has in common:
A general video crew can make a practice look good. A healthcare crew also has to protect patients, get the medicine right and follow ad platform rules.
We only film patients who have signed a release, and we keep charts, screens, schedules and other patients out of frame. That is also why many hospitals limit recording: one stray monitor can expose protected health information. Our marketing stack is set up for HIPAA-compliant marketing from the first lead.
The doctor on camera is the expert, so the words are theirs. You see every cut before it goes live, and we change anything that is not clinically right or that your team would not say to a patient.
Most people watch social video with the sound off, and patients with hearing loss rely on captions. Every edit ships with them, which also helps your website meet accessibility standards.
Meta and Google have their own rules for health ads, for example around before-and-after claims. We cut ads that pass review, then track which ones bring in booked appointments, not just views. More on that on our paid ads page.
Stock photos of smiling models in white coats tell patients nothing. Real photos of your providers and your office do. Because the crew is already on site, we photograph the practice during the shoot day, so you get video and photos from one visit instead of booking two vendors.
We use those photos on your website, upload the best ones to your Google Business Profile, and use them in ads and emails. Fresh photos on your Google profile also give people searching for you nearby a reason to click, and video and photos on your pages support your SEO and how AI search tools describe your practice (AI search optimization).
There is no honest flat price for "a 3-minute video". The cost of medical video production depends on how much has to be filmed, where, and how many finished pieces you need. What changes the price most is the shoot day itself, because one well-planned day can feed months of edits.
Five-star Google reviews
Best investment in my cosmetic surgery practice. Roy runs google ads, SEO, and website design for us and has been a phenomenal return on investment.
The team is incredible! Skyrocketed our surgeries and designed the most beautiful websites for us.
We are a large ENT practice on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and partnered with Pilot Practice in September of 2025. Laura has been exceptional with our website build and marketing, and has extensive knowledge in her field. We are extremely pleased with the instant results we have seen after deploying Pilot Practice.
Yes. Our own videographers travel to your office and film your doctors, team and rooms on site. We do not use stock footage or actors in place of your providers.
One shoot day gives you doctor interviews, treatment explainers, office and team footage, b-roll and practice photos. Our editors turn that into a website video, testimonial edits, ad cuts and vertical reels, so a single visit feeds your marketing for months.
It depends on how many providers and treatments we film, how many locations, whether patient testimonials are included and how many finished edits you need. We quote after a short call about your goals, so you only pay for what your marketing will actually use.
Most practices plan a working day around the shoot. Each provider interview usually takes 30 to 60 minutes, and we film b-roll and photos around your schedule so patient care keeps going.
We only film patients who have signed a release, and we keep charts, screens, schedules and other patients out of frame. Anything that could identify a patient without consent stays out of the edit.
Yes. Consent forms are part of our process for every patient who appears on camera. We collect the signed release before we film and keep the story to what the patient agreed to share.
Rarely. We do not use a teleprompter or a script. We ask simple questions about the work they do every day and let them answer in their own words, then edit out the pauses and false starts.
You review first cuts after the shoot, send your notes and we re-edit until the medical details and tone are right. Because we keep the footage, we can cut new versions later as your campaigns need them.
Yes. We frame the shoot so the same footage works in 16:9, 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16, and deliver vertical reels for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube Shorts alongside the wide website and YouTube versions.
Every video we deliver has captions. Most social video is watched with the sound off, and captions also help patients with hearing loss and support website accessibility.
Yes. Medical practice photography is part of the same visit: provider headshots, team photos, the building, the waiting room and treatment rooms. We use them on your website, Google Business Profile, ads and emails.
There are three: pre-production (goals, shot list, interview questions and the schedule), production (the shoot day at your practice) and post-production (editing, captions, your review and delivery in every size you need).
